Men's Community Bible Study Continues Monday Nights

Date: Nov 06, 2017
Seats Available: Not Set (0% booked)

Are you interested in participating in a weekly Bible study; growing in the knowledge of the Scriptures while fellowshipping with men from multiple Christian denominations across the area?

Our group has been meeting every year since 1999, initially as a BSF class ( ) and now following materials from CBS  — Community Bible Study.

We meet every Monday from 7 p.m. to 8:15p.m. starting the Monday after Labor Day, for a total of 30 weeks.

Counting Christmas and a Spring break, we finish the year by the first week of May.

We cover either a major book of the Bible in its entirety or a set of smaller books following an author or theme.

Participants receive CBS booklets with weekly lessons to study from during the week, and then discuss the answers in small groups on Monday.

The study is free, but we accept donations to cover the cost of the lessons.

We are not affiliated with any denomination; our bond is our passion  for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of believers.

All adult men are welcome regardless of whether they are new to the faith, mature believers, or somewhere in between.

This year we will study the Gospel of Mark.

The First Baptist Church of Portland, at the corner of Washington Avenue and Canco Road, has  graciously offered to host us again this year.

The opening day is September 11th, 2017. You don't need to register for the study; just  show up and you'll be assigned to a small group.

However, if you wish to  let us know that you're coming, or if you have any questions, please contact

Carlos Luck by phone at (207) 807-0770 or via email to .
