I'm New at First Baptist Church.
Making the decision to check out a church for the first time can be intimidating, right? Finally walking through the doors of a new church
can be an even greater challenge!
That’s why we want your experiences at First Baptist Church to be comfortable and inviting.
From the moment you enter our front door, you will be welcomed warmly as our guest and someone will make sure you know where you’re going.
Our Worship Services
First Baptist Church has two services on Sunday mornings; one at 8:30 and one at 11:00. What’s the difference? Both services have the same sermon by Pastor Keith, but our 8:30 service is more traditional, with a worship leader, piano music and a choir and our 11:00 service is more contemporary, with a rock band leading worship. After each service, at 9:30 & 12, we have coffee and snacks together to get to know each other a little better.
Children are Welcome
If you have children, you’re welcome to bring them into the worship service with you, or if they’re 4th grade or younger, we have a safe and fun environment for them to spend time with other children while you’re in the service.
What Should I Wear to Church?
People often wonder what they should wear to church; wear what you want. You should feel no pressure to wear anything that isn’t you; dress how you feel comfortable. Most people in our 8:30 service feel more comfortable dressing up a little, while most people in our 11:00 service feel more comfortable in jeans.
I Have More Questions
If you have any more questions about what you should expect on a Sunday morning, what we believe or you want to meet with one of our Pastors, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to meet you at your favorite coffee shop or have you stop by the church building.
We look forward to meeting you this Sunday!
