Pete Hasbrouck

Peter and his wife, Caryn, have served in a variety of ministries for over 36 years. They began ministry in 1986 as missionaries to Ecuador with the Gospel Missionary Union. There they served in a Spanish Bible College until 1999 when they returned to the US to work at New England Bible College in South Portland. Peter taught various classes, and later became Academic Dean. Since 2014 he has served three southern Maine churches as interim pastor, helping those congregations find stability and healing during their transition period. Now as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, he is excited to see how God will lead this congregation to reach the community. Caryn teaches Spanish at the Greater Portland Christian School. Peter and Caryn have three adult children and four grandchildren.
